Backend Developer

Job Description

Location: Hybrid (2 days/week in the London office)
Type: Contract (6 months, with potential for extension)

About the Role:
We are seeking a Backend Developer to architect and build robust server-side applications. You will play a key role in managing the exchange of data between users and the server.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Optimize application performance and database queries.
• Work with DevOps to deploy applications and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Write unit tests to ensure code reliability.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Go.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Previous experience with GraphQL is a plus.
